The winter season is here and Browns Auto & Marine is ready to take care of your every need. We will properly winterize your boat, take care of all the fluids, shrink wrap, even clean the hull.
If you don’t have a place to store your boat Browns Auto & Marine even offers outdoor and indoor storage.
WINTER SERVICE BULLETIN:
As the summer season comes to an end we wanted to post a few things to keep in mind about winter services this year.
-Ensure your drain plugs have been removed and stored in the boat prior to it being dropped off.
-Please try to avoid brining your drop off to us at closing time, All boats should be dropped off at least 1 hour prior to closing to ensure our employees have enough time to check water has been removed from your engine etc.
-We are not scheduling Regular Repair work after 09/30/2021 except under special circumstances due to the large volume of winter orders we process.
– your boat should be delivered to us with the appropriate cover put on it before you leave, The weather is ever changing this time of year and it is best to have it covered while it is waiting to be serviced.
-If you request your covers or batteries to be removed from your boat they need to be picked up with-in two weeks of the boat being moved to storage.
The above recommendations are to ensure your boat receives the best care possible while in our possession, as always your satisfaction is our top priority. WINTER SERVICE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
2-Stroke PWC – Run on antifreeze, fog cylinders (when applicable), stabilize fuel and unhook battery
4-Stroke PWC – Run on antifreeze, stabilize fuel, oil change if needed or requested, and unhook battery
2-Stroke Outboard – Change gear lube, stabilize fuel, fog cylinders (when applicable), unhook battery (if stored at Brown’s), and change water separating filter (if there is one)
4-Stroke Outboard – Change gear lube, stabilize fuel, fog cylinders (when applicable), unhook battery (if stored at Brown’s), change water separating filter (if there is one), and
Change oil if needed or requested
Stern Drive/Inboard – Drain water out of block, run on antifreeze, stabilize fuel, fog engine (if needed) change gear lube, replace water separating filter (if there is one), oil change (if needed or requested), winterize heating system (if there is one) and unhook battery (if stored at Brown’s)
